🔥 Burning again
⏰ Lunch in 4 min
🥴 So bloated
chews with you, in the background

Acid reflux and GERD are more common than you think

If any of these sound like you, you're exactly who I'm building for.

๐Ÿ”ฅ
Acidity hits you daily

That burning feeling after meals โ€” sometimes even when you haven't eaten much. It ruins your mood, your sleep, your day.

โšก
You eat way too fast

Meals are over in minutes. You barely tasted anything. Then comes the bloating, the discomfort โ€” you know the feeling.

๐Ÿ’Š
Quick fixes that don't last

You've found ways to get through meals, but the burn always comes back. You wish it would just stop. There should be a better way.

๐Ÿ˜ฉ
It keeps coming back

You've tried slow eating, diets, and home remedies. Nothing sticks. The problem always finds its way back to you.

๐ŸŒ™
GERD wakes you at night

You lie down and the acid climbs. Sour taste, coughing, a burning throat at 3 a.m. - and you're exhausted the next day. GERD symptoms โ†’

๐Ÿฉบ
"Just acidity" became GERD

Years of ignoring the burn, and now the pain is under your ribs after every meal - or a doctor has said the word GERD. What GERD really is โ†’

How fast eating causes acid reflux

Watch what actually happens inside when you gulp a meal down.

  1. Barely chewed food drops fast โ€” big chunks the stomach must suddenly hold.
  2. The stomach stretches under the load, pushing upward on the valve above it.
  3. Pressure forces the valve open โ€” acid gets a free path up into the esophagus.
  4. Acid burns the lining again and again, right where the esophagus meets the stomach.
  5. Repeat for years โ€” and you get the severe mucosal break my endoscopy found. My story โ†“
Most apps ask
"What did you eat?"

Calories, macros, guilt - another food diary you will abandon in a week.

FixMyStomach asks
"How did you eat?"

Speed, chewing, timing - the habits that decide whether acid climbs.

Four steps. Every meal.

01

Start your meal

The app reminds you when it is time to eat - tap once, done.

02

Slow down

It paces the meal in the background while you watch, scroll or chat.

03

Chew mindfully

Gentle cues keep every bite properly chewed - not just "eat slower".

04

Track your progress

Streaks and weekly pace trends show the habit actually sticking.

Chew cues while you scroll

Chew pacing during the meal. Patterns and streaks after it.

Everything the fix needs. Nothing it doesn't.

⏱
Smart Eating Timer

Reminds you at meal time, then paces the whole meal in the background while you use your phone.

🦷
Chewing Reminders

Gentle cues keep every bite properly chewed - the habit that actually unloads your stomach.

📝
Meal Tracking

Log a meal in seconds - tap, done. No weighing, no counting, no diary guilt.

🔎
Personal Patterns

Your log shows which foods, times and habits flare you up - your triggers, not internet guesses.

🔥
Progress & Streaks

Every paced meal and early dinner builds your streak - a habit that outlasts any diet.

🍽
Food Guidance

Trigger foods vs safe foods at a glance - your personal eat-and-avoid list at the table.

Not another food diary.

A companion for changing how you eat.

I wasn't a doctor. I was a patient.

This app didn't start as a business idea. It started because I was desperate to eat a meal without pain.

REC ENDOSCOPY ยท FINDINGS GE-JUNCTION
FINDING A severe mucosal break exactly where the esophagus connects to the stomach โ€” the result of years of untreated acidity.
My actual upper GI endoscopy report showing esophagitis and antral gastritis

My real report. Personal details blurred.

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
    The beginning

    It started as "just acidity"

Bloated, some acidity, almost every day - for 4-5 years. It always passed in 20-30 minutes, so I ignored it and moved on.

  2. ๐Ÿ“‰
    Getting worse

    Then it became GERD

Then one day it started hurting - and didn't stop. I took pain relief and carried on, but the pain kept coming back after every meal, for days.

  3. ๐Ÿงช
    The dead ends

    Doctors, tests, no answers

I took the medicines, ran blood tests, had an ultrasound. Nothing showed a cause and nothing fixed it - only temporary relief, then the pain again.

  4. ๐Ÿ”ฌ
    The diagnosis

    The endoscopy showed the damage

The test found a problem in my esophagus and the upper part of my stomach โ€” a severe mucosal break right where the two connect. Years of acid had left its mark.

  5. ๐Ÿฅ—
    Doctor's orders

"Take this medicine โ€” and eat slowly"

The doctor put me on acid-suppressing medicine to let the lining heal, and a food list: eat oats, bananas, rice, green vegetables; avoid fried, spicy, citrus, coffee and late-night meals. The medicine and the food list I could follow. But eating slowly? Impossible โ€” and that was the part that mattered most.

  6. ๐Ÿ’ก
    The turning point

So I built my own fix

I'm a developer. So I built an app for myself โ€” one that helps me eat slowly, chew properly, and know exactly what to eat and what to avoid.

  7. ๐ŸŒฟ
    Today

2โ€“3 months later, I was a different eater

The medicine healed the lining; the new habits kept it healed. Today I have no acidity problem at all. Now I want everyone who's suffering to have the same freedom.

I built this app to fix my own stomach โ€” and it worked. As a developer, I want everyone who's suffering to use it and make their stomach acidity-free.

Acid reflux questions, answered

Is FixMyStomach a diet app?+

No. It never counts calories or bans foods - it retrains the habit behind most reflux: how fast and how much you eat.

Do I have to open it before every meal?+

No. It reminds you at meal time - tap once and it runs in the background while you watch or scroll, nudging you to chew properly.

Is this medical treatment?+

No. It is a habit companion built by a former GERD patient - not medical advice. Persistent or severe symptoms need a doctor.

Who made it?+

A developer who spent 4-5 years with daily acidity until an endoscopy found a severe mucosal break. Changing how he ate - not what - ended it. His story ↓
